Good morning beauties!
Ah, it’s so good to be back.
My vacation time was so wonderful. I got to spend time with family, unplug, relax, and see so many friends. Let’s share some pics
Tuesday night my cousin Haley & her boyfriend Robert came and stayed with us in SLO. We went to Urbane Cafe for dinner, walked around town, and then went to bed just in time to wake up early again the next day and head to Ventura. On our way out of town we stopped at Black Horse Coffee to grab hot Mocha’s for the road. THE. BEST.
I arrived in Ventura around 1:00 on Christmas Eve. Ah, it was SO GOOD to see family! I helped my Mom & Dad set up for our huge Christmas Eve Party that night. My sweet Hubby was still home in SLO working.
Our Christmas Eve party was just as eventful as always! We’ve been having this party every year since way before I was born. I’m waiting on some pics, so I don’t have any to share yet.
The next morning, Christmas, I woke up, sipped coffee with Mom & Dad, and waited for Marco to pick me up at 8:00. I was so glad to see him! We headed over to his aunts house for Christmas with his side of the fam, and then came back to my Mom & Dad’s house for Christmas with my side of the fam.
HAHA!
One of my Christmas gifts was face masks from my Sissy & Bro (along with Bobbi Brown Eyeshadow, Rifle & Paper Co. notebook, and Kate Spade Journal)… so as we were lounging (all day long) on Christmas I did a face mask. Scary? I tried
The next morning I headed over to Coffee Bean to sip on a soy latte and work for about 2 hours. Although I was technically working… it didn’t feel like work at all! I chatted on the phone with my sweet friend Simi for an hour and then spent another hour organizing and continuing to work on our #SecretProject. I think January 1st would be a good time to START letting you all in on what’s been going on with us since late October What do you think? Would you like to know?
First to know will be all you VIP’s (and of course my Clients – but they’re all VIP’s too)! You can be a VIP too. It’s free, and you’ll hear from me privately once per week. Sign-up here!
That night (Friday) we had a big Christmas dinner with Marco’s side of the fam. It was deeeeelish! Again, I don’t have picture of that night because everyone else was in charge of photography. I’ll get some soon I’m sure
After dinner we went out with friends. Marco, his guys, my Aubs, her friend, and tons more people that we saw out. Here’s a pic of me & Aubrey. Ah, it was so good to see her!
The next morning I went to breakfast with my girlfriends while Marco went out with his guys. After breakfast I met my Mom & Sisters downtown for Coffee. Following coffee was a little nap (see, I really rested) and then an afternoon at the salon for a FRESH haircut!
Sunday morning was entirely cozy. Around 11:00 we started packing everything up and then drove back home to SLO. Last night was full of unpacking, walking around down, grabbing dinner at Chipotle (my favorite burrito bowl), and watching Parenthood!
Today it’s back to routine, getting re-organized, and pre-parring for more weekend fun
This week I am going to:
- Get organized & planned on Monday (today)
- Go through my 2014 resolutions and journal through them (and share it with you all!)
- Create brand new vision for a brand new year in 2015 (and share it with you all!)
- Continue to work hard on helping all of us to have the best relationship to food that we can!
- And of course… because I like numbers/organizing… go through all of my 2014 work receipts & get tax ready
