Good morning all
Marco and I came back up to San Luis Obispo this weekend, so I’m here to share some photos with you.
Sunday morning we left home at 8:30 and landed at Mountain Brook Church for the second service at 11:00. We started off our day with eggs & corn tortilla’s as usual I sipped my morning coffee on the road.
Check out this beautiful view from the Church. Everyone sits looking at the stage, and to both sides of the room you have this view of rolling hills. I love it!
For lunch, we went to Urbane Cafe. I ordered the same as Marco, the So-Cal Sandwich. This sandwich has chipotle mayo, green salsa, chicken, avocado, pepper-jack cheese, and lettuce. It comes with a side salad with mandarin oranges, balsamic, and feta.
Next, we checked into our room. The first thing I did was run out back to check-out our private hot tub. We had one in our room during our Honeymoon and loved it.
We relaxed in the room for a while once we checked-in. Marco napped and I worked on my Bible Study. Once it hit 4:00 and the boy was still sleeping, I had to get up and do something. So, I drove around town, mostly through neighborhoods I haven’t seen yet. I love the homes up here, they’ve all got so much personality.
I went back to the Apple Farm around 5:00 to wake up M. After he was up, we walked down the street to dinner at Pepe Delgado’s for Mexican Food.
I ordered exactly what sounded good — a bean tostada, chile relleno, rice and beans. I only ate about 1/3 of this plate because it was so quickly filling. Heavy food = I’m full super fast.
After din-din we walked around town for a while.
To end the night, we went in the hot-tub. So here’s a great, messy-hair jacuzzi appropriate selfie for ya
This morning we woke up and relaxed for a bit before heading out to breakfast. We walked to Splash Cafe and both ordered the simple eggs and bacon. This is probably my favorite breakfast to get in SLO. With a soy capp on the side of course.
Now, I’m laying in bed finishing up my capp writing to you all.
We’ll be heading out around 12:00 today. I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve gotten to spend time with me mama and dad… so once we get home I’m going to head to their house and hangout while M works on some things with his grandpa. It’s been busy being gone nearly every weekend.
Next weekend (Nov 3) is my Birthday, so who knows! Will we be in town? Or out of town?
Friday is Halloween, so I’m definitely looking forward to some great family time then. I love trick-or-treating with my baby cousins, seeing them dressed up. I remember trick-or-treating in my parents neighborhood like it was yesterday.
I hope you all enjoy your day!
Love, your Coach Paige
