Good morning all! Hope you enjoyed your Easter Sunday with your family yesterday.
This weekend was awesome.
Friday, I send out my quiet time video. Did you see it? If not, you should definitely sign-up to see my Videos first on Fridays!
Saturday started off with my first ever Sugar Blues Class. It was such a success, and we have girls now signed up for the Upcoming Group Program. Head over to Always Ashten today! She’s giving readers her one day only friends discount.
Saturday night, Marco & I celebrated and went to Santa Barbara for a nice dinner. It was such a sweet time!
Sunday, we woke up, went to Church, and listened to a great service. It was the best Easter Service I’ve ever attended. People were being filled with hope & joy. It was so community centered, as Mission always is.
After Church, we went to Marco’s families house. His aunt decorated so cute! I took pictures to show you all.
By the way, this water…. man it was good! It had lemons, cucumbers, and strawberries soaking inside. The strawberries were AMAZING. I now want to always put berries in my water!
And look, the Easter Bunny, Brownie!
I filled my plate with a variety of yummies for brunch: two kinds of quiche, strawberries, salad, a small croissant with butter, and a little cookie and chocolate dipped pretzel. It was perfect. I took home a lemon-poppyseed cupcake that I also thought sounded good. I wasn’t hungry enough to eat it at the party, but taking it home for later sounded perfect.
Plus, Cheryl (soon to be grandma-n-law) is making them for my Bridal Shower, so I had to try em! I ended up having 1 bite later and feeling perfectly satisfied. Shared the rest with family. It was so good!
For dinner, my family made chicken adobo. MY FAVORITE FOOD, EVER. I filled my plate, and got a little more when I was done. I got more veggies, salad, brown rice, chicken, and tomatoes.
Dessert was this fruit covered in cool-whip that my Dad put together. I also had some of this for dinner.
I had such a nice Easter. I sipped decaf Coffee while chatting with family, having meaningful, deep conversations, and getting to know everyone that I already know a little bit more. That’s what family time is about, isn’t it? Always getting to know the people you love more.
After family time, I headed over to my friend Kelsey’s. She was home from College, and me and Angela visited her around a campfire with a glass of wine. This was such a sweet way to end the night.
What was your favorite non-food related part about Easter?
